This class is based on my dissertation work- it is a broad overview on topics to address, methods, and models of therapeutic work with cisgendered Gay Men. A lot of our focus will be on the sexual issues that Gay Men present in therapy and how to navigate those for themselves and prospective partners.

This class will provide an overview of typical issues around sexuality that present in therapy with cisgendered Men. We will cover the acronym salad: PE, ED, DO/AO, as well as low and discordant libido, performance anxiety and organic physical concerns. We will spend time talking about typical urological, drug, and somatic interventions.
