Applied - Gestalt Therapy

This ongoing class will give you the confidence and experience to apply what you know and generate direct experiences for your clients. It’s where the rubber meets the road- providing numerous interventions, tools, and experiments to help your work with clients. Each time we meet e will practice together to ensure that you know how to apply what you’ve learned as it applies to your current client presentations. Prerequisite- Gestalt Therapy course, Intake Interview.

We will talk together as a group about cases that you are working on and different interventions that might make sense to consider applying. The hope for this group is that you find your colleagues to be another resource outside of your structured clinical environment. This is for folks in practicum or in their associateship. It will meet on the 4th Thursday of the month. There will be occasional Saturday meetings. Please Register so that we know you are coming.

This is an experiential Gestalt group process. We will work on Individual Gestalts that people bring. This will be an opportunity to explore you own or client material in a Gestalt setting. We will not work on anything between group members. It will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Prerequisite- Gestalt Therapy course, You must have an Intake Interview to make sure this format is helpful to you.
